Vets warming over tick paralysis

There’s been a spike in the number of animals showing up to vets, suffering from tick paralysis.

Spring and Summer are traditionally the peak seasons for paralysis ticks and vets warn letting an animals protection expire can have deadly consequences, within just days of it lapsing.

Rural Reporter Madelaine McNeill spoke to the Animal Referral Hospital’s Emergency and Critical Care Specialist Doctor Natashia Evans, to find out the best way to keep our pets safe.
