Four years after the onset of Covid-19, the origin remains uncertain, with debates over a lab leak or zoonosis.

The Chinese Communist Party’s suppression of information contributes to the ambiguity, but the US government, or specific factions within it, also share responsibility.

The crucial distinction lies in the US’s constitutional framework and legal structures, allowing for potential revelation of information in contrast to the opaque nature of the Chinese Communist Party’s control.
