Rural health advocates are pushing for more investments to address healthcare challenges facing regional Australia.

The latest State of Australia Regions report outlined the Government has recognised major health issues facing rural areas and the need for a placed based investment.

Rural reporter Georgia Kondek spoke with the National Health Alliance Chief Executive Susi Tegan who says the report shows what those living in rural Australia already knew.
