Gold Coast resident Brooke Ashleigh from Unfit Running calls in with her partner Matt to discuss their goal to run 84 kms over 48 hours to raise money for the Heart Foundation and just when exactly they will get some sleep. Acting Assistant Commissioner for QLD Police Andrew Massingham joins for his weekly update on the latest local crime issues and statistics, as well as shares just how successful the wanding operations brought into existence through ‘Jack’s Law’ have been. The Acting Assistant Commissioner also shares his thoughts on how parents can talk to their children about avoiding violent behaviour and the school programs and campaigns they have deployed to tackle this increasing issue. We get a sports update from 4BC’s Sam Leckie, PLUS Celebrity chef Adrian ‘Richo’ Richardson joins to talk about adapting to Brissy weather, his advice for men wanting to impress their partners with their cooking and a Friday Night Pasta recipe with a surprise parmesan substitute!
