More women are freezing their eggs
Mike speaks with Amanda Lambros, a relationship counselor and bestselling author, about the doubling of women freezing their eggs as IVF success rates rise and more single and same-sex couples choose to have children.
In 2022, nearly 7,000 women froze their eggs, up from 3,642 in 2020, according to data from Australia and New Zealand. Over a third (38%) of women froze their eggs for non-medical reasons, such as not having a partner.
