The Brisbane Broncos have signed veteran halfback Ben Hunt on a two-year deal worth around $600,000 per season.

Ben Hunt told Peter Fegan on 4BC Breakfast, ‘in my heart it always kept taking me back to Brisbane and just the possibility of finishing my career off there and where it all started.’

Going back to my beginnings, it was kind of what really got us over the line in the end,’ he said.

‘It was just that the love for the place and what the club gave me in my early part of my career.’
