‘First strike back against youth crime’: Premier Crisafulli on revising youth sentencing laws

The ‘Making QLD Safer Laws’ have been front and centre for the newly-elected LNP Government with parliament sitting for the last time this year.

Time is running out for David Crisafulli who promised that these laws will be legislated by the end of the year.

The Queensland Premier told Peter Fegan on 4BC Breakfast, ‘I made quite a number of commitments that we would do in the first 100 days, and we will meet every single one of them.’

‘It’s important to me that if you say if you’re going to do something on one side of the election you do it on the other,’ Crisafulli said.

‘I think even our hardest of critics would have to acknowledge we’ve made a pretty good start.’
