Greens unveil $60 million dollar plan to remove shark nets

Dean Miller

The plan would involve alternative measures to prevent shark attacks such as shark spotter programs, eco-shark barriers, and increased public education.

Associate Professor of Environmental Science at Bond University Dr Daryl McPhee told Dean Miller on 4BC Afternoons, “I think we need to transition away from lethal methods but we need not to rush, we need to bring the whole community along with us.”
