Brisbane Heat hoping to snap losing streak in New Year clash against winless Stars
The Brisbane Heat are looking to break a two game losing streak in their New Years Day clash at the Gabba against the winless Melbourne Stars.
Brisbane Heat leg-spinner Mitchell Swepson told Jason Matthews on 4BC Wide World of Sports, “They [Melbourne Stars] could probably beat any team on their day, so we’ll have to be on our game.”
“We’ll have to be sharp because we know if one or two of those guys fire on the night, they’ll be good and they’ll be hard to beat,” Swepson said.
“We’ll be looking to bounce back from a couple of stiff games from us, so it should be a really good contest.”
