The Brisbane Broncos are three weeks away from their first pre-season game, and first under Michael Maguire. 

Brisbane Bronco Cory Paix told Jason Matthews on Wide World of Sports, “This has certainly gone down as one of the most challenging [pre-seasons] ones, I’ve been a part of.”

“Madge coming to the club it’s a clean slate for, personally for myself, and a clean slate for the other players who didn’t get a look in last year.”

“No spot is guaranteed within the side at the moment, and everyone’s just on the train, pushing hard to find themselves in the 17 each week,” Paix continued.
