“Hotbeds of hate”: Josh Frydenberg SLAMS universities for giving ‘green light’ to anti-semitism

Gary Hardgrave

The Queensland University of Technology could face a potential parliamentary inquiry over a controversial ‘anti-racism’ conference.

Former Treasurer The Honourable Josh Frydenberg told Gary Hardgrave on 4BC Drive, “I think our university leaders have really failed us over the last 15 months.”

“They’ve turned houses of learning into hotbeds of hate and they’ve looked for a fence to sit on you know trying to cloak themselves in the notion of academic freedom and it’s just wrong.”

“It’s completely wrong and in that sense it has given a green light to the sort of anti-semitism, the hateful behaviour that we’ve seen on campuses over the last 15 months,” Mr Frydenberg continued.
