The NRL pre-season is coming to an end, and Michael Maguire has yet to make decisions regarding players.

Brisbane Bronco Kobe Hetherington told Peter Psaltis on Wide World of Sports, “Everyone is training real hard, there’s some good vibes around the club, it’s been tough but it’s what we’ve needed and all the boys are buying in.”

“It’s good having healthy competition and everyone is fighting for that spot, it keeps everyone on their toes and it keeps everyone working hard too.”

“Everyone wants to start, so that’s something I want to do, I want to start this season, I told myself [to] have a big pre-season and give myself every opportunity to get that starting jumper,” Hetherington continued.
