‘She loved the beach’: Bribie in mourning after 17-year-old girl killed in shark attack

Queensland is in shock following the tragic news that 17-year-old Charlize Zmuda lost her life after being attacked by a shark at Bribie Island’s most popular beach.

9News Reporter Andrea Crothers told Bill McDonald on 4BC Mornings, “The family just released a statement that says, Charlize was loved by many and was the shining light who truly touched the lives of everyone else she met.”

“She loved the beach and it truly was her happiest place on earth.”

“The family also says we’re truly grateful for the outpouring of support from the community,” Andrea Crothers said.
