Tristan Schoolkate climbs to career-best and takes set off Jannik Sinner
Tristan Schoolkate has risen to a career-best in the ATP Live Rankings following his win at the Queensland International.
The West Australian builds on his groundbreaking Australian Open campaign, where he reached the second round for the first time and became the first person to win a set against Jannik Sinner since October 2024.
Tristan Schoolkate told Peter Psaltis on Wide World of Sports, “I think it gave me a lot of confidence knowing I could match it with the best player in the world.”
“Obviously, I didn’t get across the line. But I learned a lot from that match and the experience itself,” Schoolkate continued.
