“Disgusting behaviour”: Senator SLAMS timing of Anthony Albanese’s North Queensland visit

Widespread criticism has surrounded the timing of Prime Minister Anthony Albanese’s trip to North Queensland.

New South Wales Senator Hollie Hughes told Gary Hardgrave on 4BC Drive, “What I’m saying is he could have done it after he did his job for the Australian people and answered questions at Question Time.”

“It’s disgusting behaviour with someone who should be showing leadership.”

“We are, as a country facing so many national crises, whether it’s the anti-Semitism or whether it’s the cost of living crisis, and then for the people of far North Queensland, a natural disaster.”

“His priorities are just not with the Australian people,” Senator Hughes continued.
