Kimberly Birrell has had a busy start to 2025, with a successful singles campaign at the Brisbane International, a doubles run at the Australian Open, and a semi-final appearance at the Brisbane QTC Tennis International 2.

She has reached a career-high WTA ranking of No. 95.

Kimberly Birrell told Peter Psaltis on Wide World of Sports, “I’m super proud to have reached that goal for the first time and hope to continue the upward trajectory.”

“I don’t have too many points to defend, so I’m feeling really good.”

“I just want to stay healthy and happy on court and I think the results will continue to follow,” Ms Birrell continued.
