Nurse’s damning letter exposes Queensland hospital’s dire state

Gary Hardgrave

4BC Drive received a damning letter from a nurse operating in a Queensland Health Service.

The letter highlights the devastating state of the hospital and how the damage is covered up when politicians and ministers visit.

The letter reads, “Was a fairly intense weekend. We have many broken beds waiting for repairs.”

“Even when they are repaired, not really anywhere to put them. We have beds and wheelchairs also in the emergency department in desperate need of repair, but having to use them rather than tag them out for repair like we should be doing.”

“Amazing how hospital and department managers can clean up a department so quickly to give our ministers and politicians an illusion that they have everything under control.”
