Unrest in Syria is affecting hundreds of civilians, many of whom have been killed.

A Syrian man who lives in Brisbane has been back to bury his mother, who was killed.

He told Gary Hardgrave on 4BC Drive, “It is against humanity, it’s against liberty, it’s against freedom, it’s against any form of life.”

“There’s no border there. People can’t even get out. If you do, they stop you and say, ‘What are you, a Christian?’ and that’s it. Slaughter will happen,” he continued.
