The dispute between the Brisbane City Council and local homeless advocacy groups has continued with the Housing Minister Sam O’Connor stepping in.

He revealed to Bill McDonald on 4BC MorningsĀ over 5000 people are housed in short-term hotel and motel accommodation and confirmed he was also told the local homeless community turned down accomodation.

“I got the reports directly, that’s where the mayor’s got this information,” he said.
