Listeners have revealed to 4BC Drive they’re growing increasingly concerned following a major push from energy retailers to implement smart meters.

Canstar Blue Utilities editor Tara Donnelly says a major rollout is expected by 2030 as the energy retailers try to “deploy as many as possible”.

“The good news is you can opt out,” she said.
