Farmers respond to ‘underwhelming’ federal budget
Farmers say the federal budget is underwhelming, and could have offered more to regional Australia.
11 million dollars for the control of biosecurity threats and 3.5 million towards the development of a National Food Security Strategy are among the announcements.
Rural Editor Emily Minney spoke with National Farmers Federation President David Jochinke, who is welcoming the budget, but wants to see more offered during the election campaign.
