Australian of the Year Nominee calls for debate on Australia Day date

League legend and Australian of the Year nominee Johnathan Thurston says it’s time for Australia to have a respectful debate about January 26.
He told Ben that while he celebrated Australia Day large numbers of indigenous people feel excluded and that all Australians need to have an understanding of the indigenous experience.
