A prime mover has lost all of its rear axles while travelling at high speed in Sydney’s south-west.

Listener Danny called Ray after seeing the incident on Camden Valley Way westbound, at around 9.20am.

“Couldn’t believe me eyes… the actual trailer has snapped in half.

“He’s left his rear axles about 50 metres behind him and the container is getting dragged along by the prime mover.

“He kept going for about 50 odd metres. It would have happened pretty quickly, he was probably travelling at about 70-odd km/h.”
