Police cars allegedly rammed by aggressive driver on Gold Coast

A man will face court after allegedly ramming a stolen vehicle into two police cars in a busy Gold Coast shopping centre car park yesterday afternoon.
Shortly before 5 pm, an off-duty police officer recognised a stolen car in the Upper Coomera car park.
The driver allegedly became aggressive after two police cars attempted to intercept the vehicle.
Police fired shots at the car’s tyres before taking two people into custody.
A 22-year-old man will face Southport Magistrates Court today charged with 14 offences.
A 22-year-old woman will face court later this month.
