Vulnerable countries are being held at China’s ransom.
There are reports their government is planning to build a military base in Vanuatu, a country deep in debt to China.
Tonga is another nation scrambling to repay its foreign debt reaching close to $238 million, 60% of which is owed to China.
“China has screwed them over, and they know it,” says Chris Smith.
But it’s not just the Pacific getting routed. Latin American countries are getting caught up in the mess too, Venezuela owes close to $19 billion.
“Everywhere you look, countries are snowed under by debt to China.
“They use cheap debt to gain political, logistical and economic leverage over other countries, and it’s a worry.
“This is a world plan for domination, and it’s been going on for decades.”
