Body odour. It’s never an easy topic to raise, especially in the office.

Turns out Ray Hadley is the go-to man for such matters, with a staff member asking him yesterday whether she suffered from the predicament.

When Ray questioned why he’s always asked about B.O, he was taken back to a situation years ago in the 2UE studios when he had to confront a young man who didn’t smell so flash.

“I did the best I could to try and guide him through all of this,” Ray recalls.

“I said, ‘Mate, that nylon shirt, you’ve got to get rid of it’.

“He said, ‘Really?’ I said, ‘Yeah’.

“This went on forever so, in the end, I said, ‘Look mate, you stink. And you really need to do something about yourself'”.

When the young man asked what he should do about the problem, Ray had a sage piece of advice.
