North Queensland prop Scott Bolton has spoken publicly for the first time since being charged with indecent assault.

The 30-year-old was arrested on Sunday morning over an alleged incident involving a woman at a Bondi Bar, while he was out drinking with teammates.

He’s been released on bail and will face court in June.

An emotional Bolton says he’s taking the matter seriously, and co-operating with police and the NRL Integrity Unit.
