Candlelight vigil held for 6yo killed in shopping centre car park
A candlelight vigil has been held for a young girl who died after being hit by a car in a shopping centre car park on the Sunshine Coast.
Six-year-old Indie Armstrong, her eight-year-old sister Lily and their grandmother Sandy were on a pedestrian crossing at the Nambour Mill Village complex on Sunday.
An 86-year-old woman hit the accelerator instead of the brakes while in reverse, ploughing into the family.
The younger girl died in hospital while her big sister suffered leg injuries.
A GoFundMe page has been set up to help support the family.
