The Palaszczuk Government is thinking of renaming the Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital, the Queensland Children’s Hospital.

It says market research shows the name of the 4 year old hospital is too confusing with almost half of all parents not understanding it is a public hospital.

Opposition Deputy Leader Tim Mander tells Mark the move is a slap in the face to the memory and the family of children’s health pioneer Lady Cilento.
