The Milky Way is on a collision course
Our Milky Way galaxy is on a direct collision course with the Andromeda galaxy, rushing towards each other at 400,000 kilometres-an-hour.
Renowned astrophysicist Dr Lisa Harvey-Smith is on a national speaking tour explaining what happens when galaxies collide.
She tells Mark there is no need to panic because the collision won’t happen for another 3.8 billion years.
