Teen charged over horrific attack on Logan schoolgirl
A teenager has been charged over a vicious attack on a schoolgirl in Logan.
The 12-year-old girl was allegedly approached on Thursday morning in a pedestrian tunnel at Kingston while she was walking to school.
It’s alleged she was slashed across the face up to 20 times with a box cutter but was able to fight off her attacker and flee.

She was taken to Queensland Children’s Hospital (formerly Lady Cilento) with serious injuries and underwent surgery that same evening.
Police launched a major manhunt and a 17-year-old boy has been charged with acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm.
The alleged attacker is refusing to tell police what sparked the random attack.
