Murder investigation launched after woman’s body found on Queensland beach
Detectives are trying to piece together the puzzle surrounding the death of a 24-year-old woman on a Far North Queensland beach.
Toyah Cordingley was walking her dog at Wangetti Beach, north of Cairns on Sunday afternoon when she went missing.
Her body was found ashore this morning and police are treating the death as suspicious.
Detective Senior Sergeant Ed Kinbacher says at this stage they have very little to go on and is making a public appeal for information.
