The Brisbane City Council has awarded a tender for a second e-scooter company to compete with Lime Scooters in the city.

Singapore based Neuron Mobility has been given permission for 600 scooters, while the US based Lime has had its current numbers cut from 750 to 400.

BCC Active Transport Committee chair Krista Adams tells Mark the permits are for 12 months and things will be reassessed after that.
