Country music superstar Tim McGraw will be returning to Australia for the first time in seven years to bring a new music festival Down Under.

The American singer is one of the world’s biggest country music stars, having sold more than 50 million records worldwide.

Next week he’ll be bringing the Country to Country music festival to Australia for the first time, headlining alongside Kelsea Ballerini and Midland.

Tim McGraw spoke to Ray Hadley from his Nashville home, telling him he’s excited to play some shows in Australia for the first time since 2012.

“I’m ready to come back down there and see you guys!

“It’s a pretty cool event, I’m looking forward to bringing it to Australia.”
