A jab with your snag: Vaccine clinics to pop-up at Bunnings locations this Saturday
Queenslanders can grab a Bunnings sausage with their coronavirus vaccines this weekend.
From this Saturday, pop-up vaccination clinics will be set up at more than 20 Bunnings Warehouse locations across the state.
It’s the latest in a series of initiatives by the Queensland government to boost vaccination rates.
More than 70 per cent of the state’s population has now had at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and over 50 per cent are double-vaccinated.
Bunnings managing director Mike Schneider said it was all about making it more convenient for people.
A lot of the sites are in regional Queensland.
“Getting into the community and really leveraging the extensive network we have got across Queensland is a really great opportunity for us to do it,” he told Scott Emerson.
