Adani Australia CEO tells QLD Government to stop standing in the way of jobs
The CEO of Adani Australia says it’s time the Queensland government stopped standing in the way of the coal mine project.
The federal Environment Minister has cleared one of the project’s final roadblocks, leaving it up to the state to sign-off on the mine.
Adani Australia CEO Lucas Dow tells Ray Hadley although he’s happy the project is a step closer to being realised, he says Premier Palazczuk needs to step up.
“It’s great news that we’ve got what we require from the federal government to enable us to start construction and start delivering those jobs.
“Frustratingly, however, we’re sitting here with the state government continuing to shift the goalposts and standing in the way of us being able to deliver thousands of jobs.”
