Alan Jones’ Easter message
Alan Jones has issued an Easter message to listeners, explaining its message isn’t necessarily religious.
He says the Easter story has significance for all of us but it’s “often destroyed by the jargon and mumbo jumbo that surrounds it.”
In his final show before the long weekend, Alan has urged listeners to look at the bigger picture.
“You don’t have to preach or be a regular church-goer to have an interest in the Easter message.
“Basically, Easter is about two important events, a crucifixion and a resurrection.
“The Easter message reminds us that there are crucifixions in every generation but on Easter Sunday we remember the resurrection.
“Amidst the death and the evil of Good Friday is the hope of Easter Sunday.”
