Andrew ‘Joey’ Johns says the NSW Origin side are under increased pressure ahead of the State of Origin Game III at Suncorp Stadium.

Speaking to Peter Psaltis and Paul ‘Fatty’ Vautin on Wide World of Sports, the league legend and commentator said it doesn’t get any better as a player.

“Anytime playing at Suncorp in an Origin is really special, even for a New South Welshman, playing in a decider up here it just doesn’t get any better,” he said.

“This is the ultimate … you play footy at at this level, it challenges you … it’s the best footy.”

He says he’s shattered Cameron Munster is out after contracting COVID-19 and he’s predicting a “typical ambush by Queensland”.

“If anything, I think NSW are probably under more pressure coming up here, because no one really expects Queensland to get up, especially with Munster out.

“It just adds so much to the plot.”

Vautin played three deciders at Lang Park.

“You have to give everything you’ve got and more.”
