Rugby League Immortal and True Blue Andrew Johns believes Canberra back-rower and Blues debutant Hudson Young is “made for Origin”.

Young will make his debut alongside Nicho Hynes and Tevita Pangai Junior in State of Origin one against Queensland in Adelaide on Wednesday.

Joey who’s been in NSW camp this week told The Continuous Call Team Young has been impressive so far.

“Hudson Young has really impressed me,” Johns said.

“He knows his role as a back-rower, you only need to tell him one or two things and he nails them.

“He’s made for Origin.”
