Anthony Albanese confident Labor has landed winning climate policy
The Labor Party is confident they’ve landed a climate policy to win support of inner-city and regional voters.
Opposition Leader Anthony Albanese told Neil Breen he sees it as an opportunity to grow the economy.
“We’ve managed to land a climate policy and energy policy that has the support of the Business Council of Australia, the National Farmers’ Federation and the Australian Council of Trade Unions.
“It’ll create over 600,000 new jobs and five out of six of those will be in regional Australia.
“If we’re smart about it, we can actually deal with challenges like climate change, whilst making sure we actually have growth.”
