Australian War Memorial Director, Doctor Brendan Nelson, has released After The War, an album commemorating the 100th anniversary of the end of WWI.

Not only is he a former politician, “he’s also a tragic country music fan,” says Ray Hadley.

“It’s just full of great, great music by great and talented Australians.”

Artists featured include Lee Kernaghan, Wes Carr, John Schumann, Glen Shorrock, The Wolfe Brothers and more.

Dr Nelson tells Ray all royalties made from the album will be donated back to the memorial, funding programs supporting young veterans.

The second track ‘I Am Invictus’ by Lee Kernaghan is the official song of the Invictus Games and will be performed live at the opening ceremony on October 20.

“If you enjoy good music and you want to be inspired and at the same time make a contribution to our young veterans, get the album,” says Dr Nelson.
