Australia secures victory by nine wickets on day three of third Test
Australia has clawed their way to victory in the third Test against India after a shaky start.
Usman Khawaja was out for a duck in the first over but the visitors rallied, winning by nine wickets.
Former Australian fast bowler Ryan Harris told Bill McDonald he was amazed by the turnaround.
“Watching that first hour, or that first couple of overs, and seeing when the ball was pitching on the wicket, and that puff of dust exploding,” he recalled.
“Usually [when] you win the toss [you] normally win the Test match because you bat in the best conditions before the pitch wears.
“When I saw that, I thought if India put anything above 250, that was going to be really hard for us.”
