Australian housing prices are finally cooling off
A cooling is happening in the Australian housing market. Is this the beginning of a crash?
A man who’s been contemplating this is Chief Economist at HSBC Paul Bloxham and he joins Ross Greenwood.
“We think this is a cooling in the housing market, rather than a crash in the housing market.
“We’ve only had house price booms in Sydney and Melbourne. Both of those cities are starting to show signs of slowing down.
“Probably more vividly in Sydney.
“If you look around the world right now the global economy is lifting.”
