Jakara Anthony and Tess Coady are Australia’s newest Winter Olympics medallist claiming gold and bronze respectively.

It’s the first time Australia has won multiple medals on one day in the events history.

Jakara Anthony also became only the sixth gold medallist in history claimed gold in the women’s moguls.

She told Sofie Formica she was running on adrenaline and had barely slept since the triumph.

“I am so over the over the moon,” She said on 4BC Afternoons

“It’s been such a crazy last — I don’t even know how long it’s been, but yeah it’s wild.”

Meanwhile snowboarder Tess Coady has claimed Australia’s first medal of Beijing 2022, winning bronze in the women’s snowboard slopestyle final.

“This is kind of a cinderella story for me,” she said on 4BC Afternoons.

“I feel like I’ve come so far in the last four years as a snowboarder and as a person, and I’m just so stoked on this Olympics so far.

“It’s been unreal.”
