Australia largest biotechnology company is CSL, and they are leading the way in medicinal innovation, and their profits prove it.
Originally a government entity, it has become Australian’s most successful privatisation, now worth $68 billion.
Ross Greenwood speaks with CSL CEO Doctor Paul Perreault.
“If you’re not innovating you should probably get out of the business.
“This is what we’re in business to do, it’s to improve the healthcare of people around the globe.
“When CSL was first founded by the Australian government, it was about bringing medicine from the rest of the world to Australia.
“Today, it’s about taking our science and research from Australia and taking it to the rest of the world.”
