Chris Lynn has found a new home in Adelaide for the Big Bash, before heading to the UAE for the T20 competition.

Lynn has signed with the Adelaide Strikers for the first 11 games.

The star batsman said he was stoked.

“I’d like to think over the last decade I’ve grown the game, grown the Big Bash, introduced boys and girls into the game of cricket through playing in the Big Bash, it’s been a huge part of my life and I am really privileged to still get opportunities to play in it,” he told Peter Psaltis in a lengthy chat on Wide World of Sports.

He said he has a lot of “hunger back now” and another motive to play now, with his young family.

Asked about the structure of the Big Bash competition, he said he’s been listening to fans about the tournament going on too long.

“It does go for quite a long period of time, I think it’s too many games personally,” he said.

“I think when the Big Bash was absolutely heaving, we were playing 10 games.”
