This year, Brisbane will be celebrating Christmas in a major way with the City Hall Lights show in King George Square.

Brisbane Lord Mayor Graham Quirk says the City Hall Lights Show is the “shining jewel in Brisbane’s crown”.

With over 700,000 spectators last year, the council is hoping to attract even more visitors this Christmas period.

The spectacular light show starts this Friday December 8 from 7:30 until midnight and will run until Christmas Eve.
