Brisbane’s brutal weekend of crime
It was a busy weekend for the Queensland Police Service in Brisbane, with two ongoing major crime investigations.
An incident occurred in Fortitude Valley in the early hours of Sunday morning, involving an armed robbery on Ann and Constance Street, with five people responsible.
Another incident took place in Forest Lake as two males attempted to purchase an eScooter with counterfeit money. This ultimately led to perpetrators entering the property and not only stabbing a dog but also two individuals.
Detective Superintendent, Andrew Massingham told Peter Gleeson on 4BC Drive, “when you have people hunting in this pack type mentality, it does concern me…”
