The Brisbane Broncos have launched an emotive new marketing campaign pitching the club as the “heart of Brisbane”.

It features young fans, players and overlay of Brisbane city, drawing the battle lines against the city’s newest NRL team, the Dolphins.

Neil Breen says the Broncos have competition in the river city for the first time.

“For their first time in their history there is another team in Brisbane.”

There were a few lines in the short clip that stood out to Breenie.
