Brother of notorious paedophile pleading to keep him behind bars
The brother of serial paedophile Michael Guider is campaigning for him to be kept in prison as his release date looms.
Guider, who drugged, molested and killed nine-year-old Sydney schoolgirl Samantha Knight, is due to be released from prison this week after serving his maximum sentence.
Victims have been campaigning for his sentence to be extended and the NSW government has applied for a continuing detention order.
Tim Guider says he and his brother were molested and drugged as children.
He tells Chris Smith he believes his brother had about 30 more victims and that he should be tried for crimes against them.
“I care more about his victims than I do about him.
“And really I don’t care about him because of what he’s done.
“I firmly believe he won’t be released.”
